This is a rear left Armstrong shock absorber 8686 (GSA287). It is intended for a Triumph TR4A IRS, TR250, and TR6. I would probably toss the link. The absorber itself has nice, strong, consistentcompression up and down.

These parts are very difficult if not impossible to find.
