Here is a corner light as shown. There is wear as shown and it needs a really good cleaning. Go with what you think based on the part number, don't go with what I have unless you can confirm it. Any bulbs shown will more than likely need replaced.

Up for sale is a used Tail Light for the left side of a 1976-1979 Chevrolet Chevette. The tail light is in good condition and could be considered driver or survivor quality. The lens has good color without any cracks or breaks.

On the bottom left side on the back of the housing underneath the light socket hole there is a broken piece and its also cracking. On the right side on the back of the housing underneath the light socket hole the housing is cracking.

Item Appears To Be In Good Condition. The Lower Right Corner Does Have A Chip Out Of It, Shown In Pictures. The Lens Does Need To Be Cleaned Otherwise It Appears To Be In Good Condition.

1975-1979 Chevrolet Chevette Stop Tail Lights Pair Lens Bezels Housings. Lens are clear and bright.  Not dry or brittle.  No cracks or brakes.  They actually look pretty good.  The chrome bezels are not bad either, not perfect or new. The chrome is still attached to the housings. There is some stressing where they connect ( see photos). No hole melts. One has a gasket. All studs are there.  These are nice driver quality.
