This is a re-manufactured SAAB 9-3 TD04L-14T turbocharger which **was overhauled by replacing all internal wear components, and will fit all SAAB 9-3 2003 to 2011 with B207R engines or Y VIN codes(See below). The CHRA is considered the "Working Section" of the turbocharger, and includes rotating components as well as the bearing housing, and all components such as oil seals, bearings, etc. This rebuilt turbocharger addresses many common turbocharger failures common to this era assembly such as smoke emanating from the exhaust, noisy operation, engine oil consumption, or lost charging pressures, etc.   The assembly is shipped ready to install without external bypass valve or waste-gate actuator which would be re-employed from the customer's original turbocharger, and installed onto the re-manufactured assembly as this insures as to the retention of the 9-3 turbocharger's base boost(Actuator armature length) adjustment. All internal wear components replaced with new OEM such as journal bearings, oil seals, thrust bearing, etc., and then a full dynamic balance is employed on the rotating components, and this assembly also comes with a full 90 day warranty!**

The correct SAAB turbocharger type may be confirmed by locating the 9-3 VIN number. This number may be located at the windshield or registration. When reading this # from left to right, the 8th character will reveal the engine type. A "Y" would confirm that this SAAB employs the B207R engine wherein this TD04L-14T turbocharger would allow for direct installation.
