This listing is
for a RECONDITIONED Original GM steel a/c
muffler/manifold assembly (GM part #9781240) for
a 1966-72 GTO, LeMans, Catalina, Bonneville, Tempest,
etc, & many other Pontiacs as well with factory a/c.
This is a type-1 version of this muffler bracket that
has the Discharge fitting pointing FORWARD and the
Suction fitting pointing DOWN. This part mounts to the
back of the stock A6 long style compressor on a Pontiac
engine. Comes exactly as
shown in the pictures.
RECONDITIONED BY
THE PART GUY LLC. It has been thoroughly flushed and
pressure tested with nitrogen at 250psi. A new Schrader Valve has been installed.
It is a nice part with some
typical age wear and light pitting & dings (see pictures) but nothing too bad.
