For NONTurbocharged models AND FOR THOSE WITHOUT A Pressure Switch "Sensor"on the rack - PLEASE VERIFY THAT YOUR RACK DOES NOT HAVE A PRESSURE SWITCH IN A HOLE NEAR WHERE THE PUMP LINES CONNECT!!!!!!

This is a remanufactured rack & pinion power steering gear that has beenpressuretested on a test stand at greater than the vehicle’s system is capable to ensure it has no leaks or failures.  It is advised that the pump be replaced as well especially if the rack you are replacing is leaking since contamination from a failing pump is often what causes a rack to leak. Very small microscopiccontaminants can cut the seals under the great pressure this system performs at.
Aged lines will also deteriorate internally causing line collapse and fluid contamination.  Treat the problem not just the symptom!!
