This is an original GM high rise intake manifold for Small Block Chevy engines. The casting number is 3917610. This intake was used exclusively on the 1967-1968 Camaro Z/28 models with the infamous 302/290HP engine.   This intake fits 1986 and earlier Small Block Chevy cylinder heads. This intake was rare when new and is very hard to find in any condition today. Don't miss this awesome example.

This intake is in very nice condition as shown. All casting marks including the casting number, firing order, and all important Winter's Foundry Snowflake casting are intact and undisturbed.   All threads are in great shape with no helicoils or thread inserts. One carb stud thread is weak on the first couple threads with better threads down deeper as shown.   The rear cooling port block offs have some corrosion as shown which will seal fine with some RTV on the gasket surface during installation.   There is no porting on this intake and the plenum divider is intact as shown. I removed the factory heat shield on the underside to reveal the casting date of 3.5.68. The shield has since been properly reinstalled with the original rivets. Needless to say, the casting date can not be seen with the shield attached or when installed on an engne. This is simply and awesome factory high performance intake manifold.
