The Refinishing Process

Our reconditioning process starts with a good wheel ?core?.
Large quantities of cosmetically blemished and damaged wheel ?cores? are purchased from vendors all over the world.
Our specially trained staff carefully identifies and separates the cores with visual structural damage from those with cosmetic damage.    Cores are then chemically stripped of their finish and the raw aluminum casting is inspected for hidden structural damage.
The remaining cores are either reconditioned immediately or warehoused as a core until you place your order.

All painted wheel finishes are computer color-matched for accuracy and cataloged for future use.   Depending on the manufacturer and wheel style, 0-3 layers of OEM primer are applied to the raw aluminum core.   Automotive paint or powder-coat is applied over the primer when applicable.
Or in the case of polished finishes, the wheel cores are mechanically polished to like new condition. Finally, powder coat clear is applied over the entire wheel surface.

Items Covered Under Our Lifetime Warranty For Painted, Polished, or Machined Wheels

Spontaneous peeling or de-lamination of the finish or discoloration caused by the sun for as long as you own the vehicle.   We will cover all costs including shipping the wheel back to you.   You will be responsible for shipping the wheel back to us.

Items NOT Covered Under Our Lifetime Warranty For Painted, Polished, or Machined Wheels

Normal wear and tear.
Any wheel damage such as curb rash, chips and dents from road hazards, use of acid-based / Non-clear coat approved cleaners, or damage from mounting or dismounting.
