This is a used Mercedes Benz W123 chassis Accelerator Pivot Mount

(Accelerator Linkage Pivot Mount Bushing, Throttle Linkage Pivot Mount Bushing )

Original OEM Mercedes part for proper smooth acceleration linkage movement and vibration absorption as originally engineered to be.

Diesel engines vibrate alot. The rubber body and ball-bushing help dampen vibration for a smoother throttle linkage engagement and less noise.

The rubber component and Nylon bushing  will last decades and serve to kill as much (NVH) noise, vibration and harshness coming through the throttle linkage as possible.

The same principles apply with rubber encased motor mounts. If they were all metal mounts, the engine vibration would transfer onto the frame and shake your entire car. Likewise all metal aftermarket throttle pivot mounts.

Mount body Appears to be in 'as-new' condition but is used with an updated new ball bushing, that is the same dimension as Original Manufacturer Part.. (look at pictures)

The stamped part number is 123002325 and another stamped number is 799230-16  Also stamped is the number '85' inside of a circle.

This was removed from a 1985 300CD  Diesel Coupe.

It is the same part number employed for the W123 300D turbo diesel sedans and some 240D sedans. Please do your own research to assure cross reference of part numbers and applicability to your vehicle.

The white nylon ball bushing is in excellent condition as is the collar at the area between the linkage body/plate and the firewall fastening plate. The original white polyurethane ball used by Mercedes, turns yellow with time and heat and begins to deteriorate.

There is no 'wobble' along the axis of the mounting rod.

The black rubber body of the linkage body has NO superficial hairline cracks. The rubber body is 'as-new' and with solid integrity.

I applied torsional force by hand several times. Around 1.5 lbs to 2 lbs. and the rubber body was resilient. It is not weak and dilapidated.

No cracks or hairline cracks appeared under torsion.

Looking behind the back plate small hole with a flashlight showed the internal body of the rubber to be integral as is that corresponding rubber collar.

The fork area also looks 'as new'.. (see pictures) That area just loosely holds the armature.

The black rubber body was impregnated with rubber restorer fluid in order to enhance resilience and longevity of this already intact body.

Applicability: Please confirm with your vehicle's manufacturer.

To the best of my knowledge, this part will work on 1981 and above Diesel W123 automobiles. Part numbers are often superseded by the manufacturer and often parts/part numbers are slightly changed for certain years but generally remain the same.

Please research what is applicable for your W123 car.

No refunds, warranties or returns. What you see is what you get.

A simple general guide for possible applicability. You must refer to your own particular model and decide if this will work:

240D from 1981

300D from 1981

300CD from 1981

300TD from 1981

Diesel models only.
