Please read carefully and understand what I am currently selling. This is a very cool concept for anyone that needs a replacement on a OM617 oil cooler lines.

These Mercedes-Benz Oil Cooler lines are specifically designed for the OM617 engine. It has undergone rigorous testing to ensure 100% leak-free performance and heavy-duty durability. The installation process is straightforward and requires barely any modifications. This modified/customized oil cooler comes with all the necessary mounting hardware and fits perfectly into the engine's oil cooling system, including the oil filter housing.

Selling a customized/modified OM617 oil cooler lines, 10 JIC oil filter housing fittings, a direct 10 JIC fitting for the OM617 oil cooler and 10 JIC lines.

These hoses replace these parts

A 617 180 01 82  - Top Oil Cooler Line

A 617 180 05 82  - Bottom Oil Cooler line

The kit includes everything to convert your old oil cooler and cooler lines to hydraulic lines with 10 JIC fittings.

The kit includes the following fittings:

- Female metric 90 degree, 10 JIC fitting that fits directly over/on the oil cooler fittings - 2 fittings - 1 for the top, 1 for the bottom - This is what makes this kit special!

- 10 JIC fittings, metric male that go into the oil filter housing (2 fittings) - will come with thread sealant/lock so it creates a nice seal - and they are super nice!

- 10 JIC hydraulic hose (100R16-08 - 1/2'') cut to length and includes the appropriate fittings to make a nice seal on both the oil cooler side and the oil filter housing.

- Thread sealant for the 10 JIC fittings onto the oil cooler 90 degree fitting and the oil filter housing fittings

- Comes with installation manual/instructions in the package

This setup only works on oil coolers where the fittings are in great condition. It will not work if the oil cooler fittings are mangled, cross threaded or cut. I can provide an extra oil cooler at $100-$120 dollars if needed. I do have decent ones laying around and will install the 90 degree fittings if you buy an extra oil cooler.

The hose is a hydraulic hose and crimped to size and accurate fit. The fittings are of high quality and I am very impressed and amazed by its quality! I was super impressed by how easy my fittings for the oil filter housing fit and are secured! WOW

$350 plus shipping

There are some extras that I can sell/include, this will be an extra charge. - You will have to message me for these extra's

A couple of recent builds include a rat rod where the oil cooler lines were a lot longer due to the oil filter housing being further away from the oil filter housing, OM617 engines being put in different cars making the oil cooler being a little bit further away.

I have included a bunch of pictures of the actual kit that will be sold, the kit that can include a bunch of specialty tools that can be included for a core charge.

I included pictures of it installed on my own W126 model, 1982 300sd. I have had about 500 miles of use on it and have made some slight modifications to the kit. I switched from 8AN to 8 JIC and now 10 JIC and loved the switch. No more leaks and so easy to install and maintain! You can honestly install these hoses without even lifting or propping up the car/engine. Unless you want to change out the motor mounts

One big observable thing you will see is that I have use different thread sealant/lock for both the fittings for the oil filter housing and the oil cooler. It sometimes is blue in the kits that I sell vs white you see in the pictures or vice versa. I will put in the white thread sealant as well. It depends on what I have laying around! It all works the same and will create a nice seal.

The main reason for this project was that I personally dreaded doing the oil cooler lines. I had a leak, the original parts were nowhere to be found. My local hose rebuilder messed up a couple of oil cooler lines. What I found out, and what I absolutely love about this product is the ease of access and installation. Once the lines were removed, the installation took me less than an hour for the complete installation. That included the fittings in the oil filter housing, installation of oil cooler, and the hoses. After that, let it sit, enjoy your hard work and drive away the next day.
