Alright lads, here's a really rare item.   I already have one in my collection, so it's up for sale here.   When Mercedes started making the R107 in 1972, they designed a badge that was nearly identical to the one used on the W113 Pagoda, but made to fit the R107.   It's got enamel that does not fade.   They immediately changed the design in 1973 to the one you see on the vast majority of R107's, that are painted and the paint always fades.   This will fit all later R107's, but it looks much, much better than the later version.   (And don't get me started on the plastic crap badges that Mercedes sells now for the R107).

If you've got a later R107 and you enter it in shows, a keen eyed judge will probably dock you points for it, but if you just want a much better, much higher quality badge for your R107, then this is for you.   It's obviously also for any early R107 owner (350SL) that needs a correct emblem in great condition.
