Return Policy

Returns

Our standard return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since delivery or pick up, we can’t offer a refund or exchange.

  • All items must be of origin of Blackautomarket with our stamp/identification marking, no alterations or modifications made.
    If an item has been altered of its physical and functional form in any way it, it voids Blackautomarket authenticity and a refund will not be applied.
  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition that you received it in.
  • A 20% re-stocking fee will be applied to any product returned after being shipped.

Shipping Returns

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping cost and assumes all risks associated with the return shipping. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund if charges are reversed back to blackautomarket.
  • If you are returning more expensive items, use a trackable shipping service. We’re not guaranteed that we will receive your returned item. Properly package the item being returned with enough protection, as damaged items due inadequate packaging will be held against the buyer.

Cancellation

An order or a portion of an order may be cancelled before it ships. Once the order is shipped it will be too late and no longer in our possession.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Item labeled as “parts only”
  • Item labeled as “no return”
  • Body cuts, glass or SRS (airbag) components
  • Past warrantied period

Refunds

Once your return is received, inspected, and approved, a refund will be processed. We reserve the right to refuse any returned parts we find have been modified, tampered with, or not in the same condition as received.

Order Mistakes

If there is a part number listed in the description, then you are responsible for checking fitment and compatibility. Before purchasing an item, contact us for compatibility confirmation.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. YOU MUST REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE SHIPMENT AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY IN ORDER TO START THE REFUND PROCESS. 30 Day Warranty

Blackautomarket warrants the original purchaser that their part is protected against any defect for 30 days from the date of original purchase. In the event of defect, Blackautomarket will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of the part. This warranty is not transferable, is limited to defects in the part, and does not include accessories attached to the actual part.

30 Day Warranty on Mechanical Parts

The Mechanical Parts warranty excludes breakdowns caused by uncovered components, improper installation, failure to clear computer codes, defective workmanship, usage for which the part was not intended, and/or improper maintenance (e.g. using the incorrect types and/or levels of fluids and lubricants as outlined in the vehicle’s “Owner’s Manual”).

All Warranties are Null and Void if

  • The part purchased is installed in an application for which the vehicle manufacturer did not intend it.

  • Defect or failure is caused by a towing trailer or any other vehicle unless your vehicle is equipped for this purpose as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.

  • Failure resulted by abuse, misuse, or improper modification.

  • The part fails or becomes defective resulting from the vehicle being involved in a collision.

  • The vehicle is not serviced at proper intervals, or appropriate fuel or coolant is not supplied in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.

  • Failure or defect caused by theft, fire, collision, explosion, earthquake, lightning, windstorm, hail, water, freezing or flood.

  • Heat tab centers are melted or removed.

Terms and Conditions

  • All warranties are not transferable.

  • Warranty coverage begins as of the day of delivery.

  • The original invoice must accompany all return items.

  • Proof of regularly scheduled maintenance is required.

  • Blackautomarket reserves the right to inspect any product prior to replacement.

  • All items must be of origin of Blackautomarket with our stamp/identification marking, no alterations or modifications made.

  • Timing belts, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, fluids and seals are routine maintenance items and should be replaced at the time of installation and at the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended service intervals.

  • Refer to vehicle manufacturer’s owner’s manual for recommended maintenance schedule and specifications

  • Unless specified otherwise, Blackautomarket drains all fluids from the parts that we sell. It is the customer’s responsibility to fill all part components with the appropriate fluids or lubricants.
    Cooling system must be filled with appropriate antifreeze.

  • Warranty does not cover freight costs or similar damages.

  • Windshields and other glass breakage are not covered under this or any warranty, unless specified on the invoice.

  • Blackautomarket is not responsible for any injury or damages that result from installation of purchased parts.

  • All items must have been installed/declared defective by the manufactured dealership

  • The year and model of the vehicle or part printed on an invoice is within range of interchangeability. The part supplied to customer may not necessarily be the exact model and year as the part or vehicle that has been provided.

  • Proper verification of operating conditions for cooling and electrical systems must be checked at time of installation of parts or products that can be affected by these systems.

  • Engines and Transmissions come with a 30 day warranty (unless extended warranty applied) from the date it is delivered to your ASE Certified repair facility.

  • Please be sure to have your engine installed by a professional ASE Certified repair facility. This is a requirement for any/all related warranty issues.

  • Under no circumstances are any labor related charges reimbursable.
    Blackautomarket will not be held responsible for loss wages, labor, rental or etc, from the purchase and installation of any engine or part.

  • Engines: Engine warranties are limited to defects in the block, rod knock, block cracks, and excessive smoking. We do not guarantee against oil leaks. Engine accessories installed or attached to the motor for convenience or preference are not covered by our warranty.
    Engines will not be covered if center heat tab is melted or removed.
    Claims related to overheating resulting from improper maintenance and or lubrication of the cooling system and or engine, are not covered by warranty. Blackautomarket does not warrant suitability of engines or other parts for compliance with any state’s smog regulations. Customer is responsible for making this determination prior to purchase.

  • Unless otherwise stated, our used engines do not typically include accessories (like alternators, ac compressors, starters, power steering pumps, smog pumps, control modules, engine harnesses, manifolds, turbos & superchargers). If these items are included on your engine, they are not covered by our standard warranty.

  • Transmissions: When purchasing a transmission, installer is responsible for replacing radiator or transmission oil cooler, flushing the transmission oil cooling lines, filling the differential, shifter mechanism adjustments; including filter, seals, and gaskets. In addition, the installer is also responsible for checking computer codes and resetting as necessary upon the installation of a transmission.

  • Blackautomarket does not provide warranty on gear and case damage or breakage caused as a result of improper use, installation, or abuse.

Important Notices

“SRS” Recycled Parts:

Regarding any recycled Supplemental Restraint System (“SRS”) including airbags and seatbelts, a qualified installer must install this recycled system for the pretensioner to operate properly. Installer must install this system in accordance to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
Installer is responsible for testing the part for proper functionality.
Blackautomarket is not responsible for the improper installation of this system. The purchaser and/or user and installer are aware and assume all risks of damages, injuries, and death, which may arise as a result of the improper installation or use of a recycled SRS part. All recycled SRS parts including airbags are sold on an “AS IS” basis.
Blackautomarket makes absolutely NO warranty, whether expressed or implied, as to the fitness or condition for a general purpose or of merchantability in connection with any sale of an SRS part.

VIN Requirements:

If any part sold has a Vehicle Identification Number (“VIN”) on it, the installer must obtain a replacement VIN for the part to the extent necessary to comply with applicable laws.

Shipping Info

Shipping

  • Most items are shipped standard via UPS, but in some cases USPS or FedEx.
  • Handling time on all non freight orders that are on-shelve are shipped within 1 to 2 business days.
  • Transit time typically ranges between 2 to 5 business days, but may take longer in unexpected circumstances.
  • If shipping time is a concern contact via email before placing an order.
  • Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost.
  • Signature will be required on all orders above $250.
  • If local pickup is selected on a listing, contact us to see if you are eligible for a delivery service.

Freight

Additional shipping costs may be applicable for oversized or overweight shipments. This applies, but is not limited to engines, transmissions, bumpers, trunk lids, hoods, door panels, etc.
Contact us for freight charge information on these parts if price is not available.

If the actual cost is higher than the estimate provided, we will inform you first for further instructions before proceeding with the order.

Items with freight shipping are those items whose weight and/or dimension exceeds what’s allowable for FedEx or USPS.
Freight shipping requires a business name and address and in some cases forklift access (unless arrangements have been made between the customer and blackautomarket). If a forklift is not available and the delivery driver has to use their lift gate then the buyer is responsible for an additional $50 to $150 lift gate fee.

Offshore Shipments

Puerto Rico and other off shore American territory residing residents must be aware of the long transit time before placing an order. Blackautomarket is not responsible for shipment delays.

Shipping Issues

Blackautomarket makes every effort to ensure all items in a customer’s order are delivered undamaged and in excellent condition. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Package Lost In-Transit

If a package is lost in transit and has not been delivered, the customer must notify us within 5 business days of the scheduled delivery date. We will then contact the shipping carrier to place a tracer on the missing package(s). If the shipping carrier cannot locate the lost package(s), a claim will be filed and a refund will be provided once resolved.
We will not be responsible for any lost package claims made after this time period.

Inaccurate/ Undeliverable Shipping Address

Please make sure that your shipping address is deliverable and complete.
Blackautomarket.com is not liable for any inaccurate / undeliverable shipping address. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the correct and deliverable shipping address for USPS/UPS/FedEx delivery upon submitting the order. Any charges incurred by us while rerouting or making an address correction will be the responsibility of the customer.

Unsuccessful Delivery

Orders above $250 will require a signature to receive the delivery. UPS and FedEx make up to three delivery attempts, excluding weekends and holidays.
Once the third and final delivery attempt has been made and the driver was unable to leave the package, UPS or FedEx will return the package to the sender. Customer will be responsible and charged for the shipping fee TWICE, for both the original delivery charges and the undeliverable package.

USPS will leave a peach-colored slip when the carrier attempted to deliver an item or items to you. A redelivery can be scheduled to take place up to the day the item is scheduled for return to the sender (the Final Notice date on the front of the form).

Refused Shipments

Shipping charges incurred by us while attempting to deliver merchandise which is refused, will be billed to the customer.

A 20% re-stocking fee will apply to any product returned.

In Transit

The tracking number is updated once the order is processed. Should the tracking number be invalid or show no tracking updates, please allow 24 hours for the tracking number to update on the USPS/UPS/FedEx website. If the tracking number continues to appear invalid or shows no movement, please contact us for assistance.
