For 1988-1991 Honda CRX:

Used Carbon Fiber ZC Style Hood made by VIS. This hood is around 15 years old, was painted championship white and clearcoated.

There are two holes cut for hoodpins (shown), and one cut made in the bottom to clear a B16A engine swap. The bolt holes are a little rusty but will clean up nicely with a thread chaser. One bolt was broken off and will need to be tapped out but shouldnt be an issue. If needed I can do this for the buyer.

Championship white paint was masked and entire hood was clear-coated, so it could be restored back to full carbon by an experienced body technician. Sand down evenly with 800 grit, clearcoat, and you will have a brand new carbon hood.

This is a rare piece and most carbon hoods are in the $800-$1100 range now. Overall it is still in very nice condition with no cracks or breaks in the carbon anywhere. The thick clearcoat applied has protected the carbon underneath its entire life. Many good years of use are left, and I would like this to go to someone who will restore and enjoy it like I did. Or bolt on as-is, it still looks great!
