Fuel Tank 2004-2018 Chevy Express GMC Savana 25/35/4500 1955 gallon tank

Fuel tank out of Chevy 4500 shuttle bus. “Gas Tank RENUE” coated this tank inside and out sometime in 2020.   Tank was alloys kept full and I removed 55 gallons in early February this year. I acquired the bus in late September. Tank never showed signs of leaking. Straps were replaced in 2020 and they will be included. Tank has some scaly rust forming especially on the upper right side. See photo. One photo shows plug RENU uses to coat and then drain tank when coating tank inside. This will be on all RENU coated tanks.  Photos of tank insides shows the coating is holding up well and is keeping tank from leaking. Parts of the outside of tank should probably be touched up with a rust converter and inhibitor like Rust-Oleum Rust Reformer or POR15. There are other products as well. This would  probably extend the life of the tank indefinitely.
I would do it but I don’t want to hide anything. Mounting point of sending unit is solid.

This tank only fits cutaways like buses, ambulances and RVs, NOT your regular Chevy van.  GM says this will fit 2014-15 and 16 diesel 2500, 3500 and 4500. Aftermarket replacement tanks show 2004 to 2017 diesel. Diesel tanks have a 2-inch fill neck. Gas tanks have a 1-inch fill neck.   If you can deal with that than you may be able to use this on a gas burner.  I am only saying this is out of a 2014-Chevy 4500. I’ll musher anything and send you all the pictures you want (of the tank). Sending unit assembly Is crusty even though it was replaced when the tank was coated.
If it got shipped with the tank it would take a beating and make the box bigger.
