10. We only rebuild rack and pinions that we are confident can be returned to OEM quality or better
11. We will never rebuild a steering rack with any signs of water damage, extensive rust, or irreparable bends or breaks
12. Any racks with cross-threaded or stripped pressure ports are not considered for repair

Our Assembly Process:

13. Genuine OEM seals are installed on every unit to ensure optimum performance

14. New steel sleeves are installed in all domestic and import aluminum-style housings

15. Pinion tower port threads are inspected and new O-rings installed with every rebuild

16. All high pressure power steering fluid lines are thoroughly cleaned, tested and replaced if necessary

17. Rack shafts are conditioned to OE level quality and performance through a precision centerless grinding process

18. New premium grade rubber boots and stainless steel clamps are installed on every rack

19. Mounting bushings are included on most applications

20. Inner tie rods are thoroughly inspected, remanufactured or replaced if necessary

We need to get your core back so that we can eventually remanufacture it, and continue to supply high quality parts at an affordable price. We make this very easy for you: when you receive your part from us, it will include a prepaid UPS return shipping label (these labels only work within the continental USA - if you are outside the US 48 states, you will be responsible for return shipping). Simply put your old part in the box that your new part was delivered in, attach the UPS shipping label, and drop it off at UPS or give it to any UPS driver and it will come back to us. Once we receive your core return, we will refund your core deposit. Core deposit refunds are typically issued within one week of us receiving your core.
