This ad is for a custom built Ford 8 inch rear THIRDMEMBER assembled, set up and ready to install.You get  any of these NEW ring and pinion gear ratios  3.00, 3.25 ,3.40 , 3.55 , 3.80 , 4.11 or 4.62 .   It will be built in one of the stronger extra ribbed Ford 8 inch cases with a NEW BILLIT TRAC LOK posi differential.   This trac lok is a clutch type posi, , it is smooth engage and disengage, works well on the street and for occasional racing, smooth on turns and there when you want to do a burn out and smoke both tires or if you get stuck in the snow or mud.   Your unit will be built with new ,bearings , races , bolts , nut , seals and  comes with  a bottle of friction modifier and housing gasket .   All Ford 8 inch rears have 28 splines and use only one style yoke, so there's no need to worry about compatibility.
