These are Sport Styled Seats (BMW Option Code: S481A). They are equipped with Electric Seat Adjustment and Memory (S459A) and Lumbar Support (S488A) which has been tested and is working. The seats do NOT have Heating. The most noticeable damage is to the drivers seat bottom where there is a white stain that seems to be dried paint. The stain has splattered and left white dots on the bottom and partially on the backrest. These stains did not come out with a quick cleaning. There is also some wear to the drivers side seat outside bolsters on both the bottom and backrest from general usage. There are some dimples to the drivers side seat bottom. Both of the seat belts have been retracted and need to be replaced. Otherwise, there are no holes, rips, or tears in the leather and it is still soft and smooth to the touch. The thigh bolsters extend and close as normal. The netting on the rear is tight and intact. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.

Left = Driver side, Right = Passenger side

Reference to driver/passenger side is for left hand drive cars, so for RHD vehicles (UK/Japan/Australia, etc.) please reverse the side indicated.

What does the production month mean?

When the fitment information includes a production month this means the part will only fit some of the cars within a given model year, depending on what month the car was manufactured. Production for the "model year" usually begins in September of the previous calendar year, so if you have a 1995 model BMW it will have been produced anywhere between 9/94 - 8/95. Some cars begin their production earlier than September, such as the first year production for a new model.

For example, if we say the part fits 04/95 - 99 it will fit those cars with a production date of April 1995 to 1999 model year cars. Or if we say the part fits 99 - 05/99 it will fit 1999 model year vehicles and up to and including those with a production date of 04/99.
