A little known fact about the police vehicles from Ford is that they were armored to prevent stabbing through the seat back. So far, I have only seen these in the 2011 with the large headrests. The frame is different and the lumbar switch is in the front of the seat. Drops right in the seat cover pocket inside the seat cover. This is probably Polycarbonate that will stop a sharp weapon. Not intended to stop bullets.
