We are asked this question all the time and it is always a good idea to check if you are uncertain. With so many variations and applications our part description may not be enough for you to be certain it will fit your vehicle. We will be happy to verify to the best of our abilities and information available whether or not the part will fit your vehicle. To check on a part application we will need your vehicle's VIN, Production date, Year, Make, Model, Engine Size (2.4L, 3.2L, V6, etc.) Transmission Type (manual or auto), and the Body Type (2 door, 4 door, 5 door hatch, etc.). Providing this information with your request will speed up our reply. Without this information our first reply to you will be to ask for this information. If we need additional information to complete the verification we will contact you. Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday 8;30 AM to 5;30 PM Central Time and we will try to fill part application verification requests as quickly as possible during normal business hours. If your request is made at night we will work on it the next business day. If your request is made over the weekend we will try to answer over the weekend but sometimes we need to wait until the warehouse reopens on Monday to fulfill your request and we will respond to let you know we need to work on it Monday. This includes all requests for visual identification on a part such as a verification of the part number that is printed on the part or photo requests (see below).

Item Photo Requests

We have too many items in stock to photograph every one before we put it up for sale but we will be happy to try and take a photo of the item you are interested in. Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM Central Time and we will try to fill photo requests as quickly as possible during normal business hours. If your request is made at night we will work on it the next day or on Monday if your request is made over the weekend.

Part Location

If part locations on the vehicle are noted in the listing they are as if you were sitting in the driver’ s seat. Example: Left is the driver's side. Right is the passenger side. Front is towards the engine. Rear is towards the trunk, hatch, or bed.

All parts have been:

  • Carefully Inspected!
  • Quality tested!
  • Drained of their fluids and/or filters removed (as applicable).
  • Inspected for internal wear or damage.
  • Carefully removed from the vehicle by our professional dismantlers.

Shipping

Shipping Policy

Orders will be shipped within two business days of the processing times listed below:

  • Orders received before 3PM Central Time Monday-Friday, will be processed that day and shipped within two business days.
  • Orders received after 3PM Central Time Monday-Thursday will be processed the following business day and shipped within two business days.
  • Orders received after 3PM Central Time Friday, ar any time Saturday or Sunday, will be processed the following Monday and shipped within two business days. We ship our orders by USPS, FedEx and UPS Ground which do not pick up on weekends. If Monday is a holiday it will be processed Tuesday and shipped within two business days. Our shipping department is closed on weekends.

Wheels Auto Recyclers reserves the right to choose the best shipping method for your order.

Be sure to provide us with all necessary contact information. This includes your name & phone number as well as business name, address, and contact information for delivery. We do not ship until we have all required information.

Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO, FPO, AA, AE, AP, and U.S. Territories outside of the continental U.S is possible but oftentimes cost more.

Large Items

Large items ship via common freight carriers. Parts shipped by freight are pallet strapped and wrapped. For freight shipments, the shipping address you provide must be a COMMERCIAL ADDRESS, such as a business with a loading dock or forklift. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the location will accept the shipment and can properly unload the part from the tractor trailer.

You can also pick up your part from the nearest Freight Carrier terminal. They have the equipment to load your part onto a pickup truck, trailer, etc, and usually there are no additional fees for their service.

Local Pickup

Customer pickup at our location is available. All pick up orders must be charged TX Sales tax regardless of your State of residence.

  • Most shipping charges are listed in the shipping section on the item listing. Most small items will ship via USPS, FedEx, or UPS Ground.
  • We are not responsible for any charges that shipping companies may require for assistance or lift gate, redelivery, extended area delivery, etc.

Returns Policy

We at Wheels Auto Recyclers try our best to only list functional auto parts. Defective parts cost both us the seller and you the buyer time and money. We have a lot of expertise at selling parts and generally have a return rate of under 5% for defective parts. However, these are used parts and sometimes they do go bad.

Wheels Auto Recyclers offers a 60-day money back return policy. The return policy starts the day the item is paid for. The cost of the transaction is split between us, the seller, and you, the buyer. We pay the labor for the part to be pulled, listed, packaged, and shipped to you. You, the buyer, will be responsible for any labor installing/uninstalling and for the return shipping. After we receive the part back, we check it for our marks and then generally refund the money within 2 business days. We will open a damage claim with the shipping company and arrange for the return and replacement of the item.

Returning Your Item

The return process is simple. We will then work with you to see If there is a solution that does not require you shipping the part back.
