Liftgate service and residential delivery options are available. We can ship to a residential address or we can arrange for you to pick up the item at the closest freight terminal near you. Liftgate service means that the truck service delivering your item will be equipped with a mechanical motorized lift on the back of their truck that allows them to drop the heavy item down to ground level and move it around. Liftgate is required if a forklift or commercial loading dock is not present at the delivery address.

Any item no longer needed (UNOPENED BOX) will be subject to a 20% restocking fee if elected to be returned once it has already been delivered. The customer will also be responsible for the return shipping cost of the item which will be deducted from the refund amount. The original shipping fee will also not be available for refund since the item did arrive to the customer as advertised.

All refunds, when/if approved, will be refunded back to the original method of payment. NO EXCEPTIONS.

ENGINE PARTS provides warranty for certain items sold and guarantees protection from defects in manufacturing (of internal lubricated parts) purchased in the form of a bare long block when properly installed by an ASE certified mechanic and under normal driving conditions (does not include racing or hard loads/wear) for a specified period of time (and distance if applicable) under the conditions as follows:

Terms and Conditions:

New and Remanufactured engines: Performance and part warranty valid for 6 months from the date of delivery, signed and time stamped. Proof of warranty will include state issued ID card, valid invoice and item serial number to match.

Installation Period: Every item sold has a strict 30 day installation period. Items must be installed during the installation period for the warranty to be valid.

Covered Components: Our engine warranty covers the block, head, and their internal performance. The following components are covered in gasoline or diesel engines: pistons, piston pins, piston rings, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft bearings, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, push rods, rocker arms and rocker arm shafts.

Replacement Parts: In case of a defect or failure of our engine, our obligation is limited to repairing or replacing damaged, defective, or broken Covered Components as set forth above. It is the sole decision of ENGINE PARTS NJ whether to replace the engine or to replace Covered Components, or provide a Refund (partial or full).  Replacement of any parts or engine will be completed only once under this Warranty and then it shall be void, and the obligations of ENGINE PARTS NJ shall be deemed fully satisfied. Repairs or replacements do not extend or renew this Warranty.

ENGINE PARTS NJ does not cover labor costs, downtime, towing charges, freight charges, rental reimbursement, and comprehensive insurance claims.

No core charges or returns.

Customer Obligations:

Installation done by certified ASE shop during the 30 day installation window which begins the day this item is delivered and signed for.

Reattachment of all accessories, emissions, and external components from original engine as per factory specifications and operating standards. Install new timing belt, water pump tensioner on belt driven engines. For chain driven engines: New, dry, timing chain engines will have a clicking noise. This is a normal timing chain noise.

Inspect engine to ensure all components are securely and properly attached. This can include setting correct timing, adjusting valves, rocker arms and all other internal components.

Prime the engine with oil prior to start to ensure oil build up and proper internal lubrication of all covered components prior to operating the engine.

Perform 500 mile engine maintenance check up. Change engine oil and filter. After this continue with oil changes regularly at factory recommended intervals.

Exclusions and Automatic Voids:

Failure to follow Customer Obligations.

Failure is caused by abuse, misuse, or modifications.

Failure is caused by using the part for any use other than what was intended or recommended by the manufacturer.

The part fails or becomes defective due to the vehicle being involved in a collision.

The part is sold "as is" as indicated on the front of the sales invoice or in a statement of terms on the website.

Defects or failures caused by overheating (heat tab bulging or melting).

Defects or failures caused by lack of lubrication (running out of oil and coolant).

Defects or failures caused by dirt found in assembly from installation..

Damaged or leaking gaskets, seals, or fittings.

Defects or failures caused by lack of proper break-in procedures.

Any field labor or expenses. This means we do not pay labor, parts, or costs for your engine to be repaired, worked on, evaluated, or reviewed at another facility.

Towing, vehicle rental, oil, oil filter, loss of use, loss of time, lost wages, personal damaged, per diem expenses, storage fees, medical expenses, telephone or rental charges, installation or removal of engine, parts purchased from other vendors, damage to the vehicle or any of its component parts, or any other incidental or consequential damages.

Defects or failures caused by over-revving, accident, abuse, or an operation for which I was not designed.

Defects or failures caused by alteration of either the drive train or the suspension from the original manufacturers’ specifications.

Heat or freeze cracks to the block or heads.

Defects or failures caused by failure to maintain proper coolant, fluid or lubrication levels or contaminated fluids, coolants, or lubricants.

Defects or failures caused by fire, flood, vandalism, theft, collision, riots, acts of war, or acts of God.

Defects or failures caused by rust or corrosion.

Defects or failures caused by competition or racing, usages not approved by the vehicle manufacturer, improper load capacity, or improper towing, misuse, or road conditions.

Heat Tabs or Serial Plate being removed.

Cracked heads, warped, or removed heads.

Item not installed by a ASE certified mechanic during installation period.
