Gear shift boot is from a T100 1995 model...floor mounted.
Mounting support bracket is in excellent condition. Top side showing rust. Bottom side pretty clean.
Top brown rubber boot is soft and pliable with no visible signs of splitting or cracking. Trucks here in the midwest don't experience the year around heat like the warmer climates.
Sprayed with silicone spray to extend life of part.
Bottom black dust boot is also intact and functional. Exterior bottom side is showing dirt, dust and road debris...not bad for a 30 year old part.
Bellows portion of boot allows driver to change 4x4 gears properly. Outlasts vinyl/leather boots.
Mounting holes are good, not torn or ripped.
Boots sandwich together correctly. Two edge staples are intact.
The brown marks show where the staples are.....
Some areas on the black boot show white residue. Typical of rubber as it ages....called rubber bloom. Compounds that rise to the rubbers surface. Part of the elastomers that let rubber stretch.
Also included is small brown gear selector knob. Screwed off properly...should reattach correctly.
Gear selector pattern shows good on top. No worn areas....
Selling as a set...knob, inner & outer boot and reinforcement metal bracket.
