This ECU/ECM came out of a running and driving 1987 Nissan 300ZX 5 speed manual non-turbo car.
This ECU works and functions perfectly, I had no issues running it. This ECU will not work on your turbo Z31 300ZX, but it may work on other non-turbo 5 speed manual Z31's. From my own research, I have found that the 84/85 ECUs were known to cause cold start/lean surge issues and some owners have swapped them out for 87 ECUs to help that issue. However, please do your own research if you are looking into this ECU for a non-87 Z31 300ZX. O2 sensors and injectors may need to be swapped or modified to run this on a different year Z31 300ZX.
This ECU will not immediately work on an automatic car or a turbo car.
