Selling this used steering column that was removed out of a 1981 Chevrolet Truck.   This is with Automatic Transmission and with tilt wheel. This fits 1979-1983 Chevrolet or GMC Trucks, Suburban, or K5 Blazer/Jimmy.   This has been pulled and stored away for probably the past 20+ years.   The tilt feature is good, tight, and snug.   Not loose or sloppy.   The housing is all good with no cracks or breaks.   There is some worn paint and light corrosion on the housing appearance. The shift arm, turn signal arm, and tilt arm all move just as they should. There is some surface rust on the turn and tilt handle as well as the steel lower tube. The hazard switch pushes in and pulls out just as it should.   It does come with the key.   When rolling the key over in the ignition, it does feel a bit tight or stiff and does not automatically retract back like it should after rolling it in the start position. It may need some lubrication or attention due to how long it's been sitting.   The key does move the ignition switch rod when commanded.   The wire harness and switches look fine, but I do not know the operating condition of them solely due to how long ago this was pulled and stored away. This does not come with a steering wheel or any mounting hardware.   The steering wheel mounting shaft looks good, threads good, and does come with the mounting nut.   I personally have not tested this column any further than what I've just described to you here.   This is good project truck or classic driver quality.
