These are original OEM hood hinges. They fit 1977-1990 CHEVY PASSENGER, 1977-1989 PONTIAC, 1977-1990 OLDSMOBILE, 1977-1979 BUICK.

All pins have been replaced on these hinges.

This pair of hood hinges has been thoroughly rebuilt. When the rebuild/restoration process is complete, the hinges have a high quality finish and a smooth, tight operation -  equal to or better than a new OEM part. I choose only good quality original OEM cores for restoration, no foreign reproductions.  Each piece is cleaned and de-greased, disassembled then media blasted. All holes are reamed to accommodate custom machined, over-sized pins made from the correct material, then each piece is sprayed with self etch primer.   During assembly, each pin and pivot point is lubricated with lithium grease. Finally, they are finished with Flat black automotive enamel. The correctly matched springs are tested for correct tension, media blasted, primed and coated with gloss or flat black enamel.
