1973 - 1987 Chevy Chevrolet GMC Squarebody C/K Transfer Case Knob OEM Genuine

Transfer case knob from a 1978 GMC Jimmy. Knob is threaded, threads in great shape.

It has some heft to it, weighing it as pictured without a box or anything comes to 3.2 ounces so almost a quarter pound.

Color is BROWN - very dark, almost black but brown.

Material is a very hard and dense material such as bakelite maybe?   The surface of the knob except for the top has some leathery type of texture to it.   Brown color is a bit worn and "chalky" mainly on the top part.   Needs more exercise!

Top has a schematic of a 4WD drivetrain, this is cut into the top of the knob, the white is what remains of the original paint, this could easily be restored by adding paint and wiping the surface leaving the paint in the groove.

There is very minimal wear otherwise, this is in great condition.   Nothing is hidden.
