Good useable 1971 Pontiac # 96 cylinder head (one single head) recently removed from a low mileage 1971 GTO 400 4-speed as the engine is getting upgraded heads.

I’m splitting up the pair of heads as someone might need a single # 96 head.

Head is in all original unaltered condition and appears to never have been rebuild before or had a valve job as the valves are sitting up nice and high.

No broken bolts,,No stripped threads,,No heli coils Excellent casting.

This head is stamped X on the centre exhaust port which is believed to be reserved for 4-speed applications (see last pic)

Could possibly run this head as is but I’d suggest to refresh it before running.
