1970s 1973-1974 MERCURY COMET LEFT FENDER FORD MAVERICK ? super-nice!

Here is the left (driver's-side) fender from a '73 Comet.   Should be correct for '74 Comet as well, and may in fact fit all years of Comet and Maverick of the 1970s, at least with minor modifications to the headlight area (such as bolt holes), but the buyer will need to check on that.   Is in very good condition, straight and dent-free, with none of the usual dings in the nose area.   Has no bondo or sign of prior repairs.   Is also free of rot and rust-through, including in the lower rear area, where there is no sign of pinholes or bubbling.   Is also free of rust damage to the top mounting rail, the headlight area, etc.   Both mounting eyelets in the lower rear are intact.   Has surface rust on the top where the paint is gone, but with no rust-through, and no signs of significant pitting.   The rear vinyl insert in the side molding is rather ragged, but the rest of the molding is good.   Will be shipped via UPS oversize.....I used to ship items like this via Greyhound, but they discontinued their package-delivery service.   Is also available for local pickup at my home in Sweet Home, Oregon (about 100 miles south of Portland).
