removed from a 1955 Buick Roadmaster with 322 and Dynaflow transmission
this is the little cover that bolts to the bottom of the bell housing on the dynaflow trans
it lets you get access to remove/install the 3 flexplates bolts - these bolts are longer than later bolts so you need to remove both covers to get the bolts fully installed or removed
as removed - oily, dirty, etc.
