PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH THIS WILL BOLT TO ALL SBC AND BBC, EVEN SOME INLINE AND STRAIGHT 6 ENGINES THAT THIS MAY NOT BE 100 PERCENT CORRECT FOR YOUR YEAR MAKE AND MODEL. WILL IT WORK OR CAN BE MADE TO WORK WITH JUST A LITTLE SENSE....YES, YES IT CAN. YOU GET THE BELL HOUSING IN THE PICTURES, ITS "CORRECT" FOR 55-56 GM CARS. STARTER MOUNT IS DAMAGED, SEE PICS PLEASE.
Used original cast iron bell housing with mounts. The numbers come back correct for 55/56 Chevy from what I can tell. This will bolt to small and big block Chevy engines. Will also bolt to some 6 cylinder engines.
Please do further research on the fitment as there are many options, engines, mounts etc.
