Warranty Conditions

• Documentation will be required on all warranty claims.
• Borges Foreign Auto Parts hereby warrants to the purchaser that all parts are serviceable & functional. If a part is found to be defective within 6 months from the date of purchase Borges Foreign Auto Parts shall at its discretion provide either a replacement or a refund. Parts not defective, which are returned for whatever reason, are subject to a 25% restocking charge. All returned parts or warranty claims must be accompanied by an original sales receipt.
• No reimbursement will be given for delay mileage. Or any other cost in installing or reinstalling a part.
• All merchandise must be inspected by the buyer for defects or safety hazards. Seller states that he in no way warrants used merchandise for apparent or non-apparent safety hazards and affirmatively states that used merchandise sold may have safety hazards. The buyer must inspect for actual or latent safety hazards or hire an expert to inspect.
• Engines
  • Engines are not warranted against oil engine accessories such as, but not limited to, gaskets, seals, oil pans, water pumps, distributors, throttle bodies.
  • Timing belts, timing chains and wire harnesses intakes are not covered by this warranty. New timing belts or timing chains must be replaced.
  • Radiator must be cleaned before engine installation.
  • New oil filter must be installed and meet manufacturers specifications.
  • All engines and cylinder heads have heat tabs installed on if the center of the heat tab is melted out, the warranty is voided. If heat tab has been removed the warranty is voided. No exceptions.
  • Documentation is required to honor any warranty items.
• Transmissions
  • Transmissions are not warranted against leaks.
  • Transmissions solenoids and transmission computers are not covered under warranty.
  • New oil, screens, filters & seals must be installed in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
  • Detent cable must be adjusted properly.
  • Transmission temperature stick must not show overheat condition.
  • Documentation required for all warranty claims.
• Differentials
  • Differentials are not warranted against oil leaks
  • Differentials are warranted to work properly.
  • We recommend new oil, seals and gaskets be installed whenever appropriate.
  • Fluid must meet manufacturer's specifications.
• All mechanical parts must be installed by a certified installer (ASE)
• Wheels DO NOT include tires.
• Shipping is non-refundable, customer must pay return shipping costs.
• Inspect all shipments for damage before accepting.
• The warranty shall be voided if the part or parts are not returned to us in the same condition in which they are sold, or do not bear the identifying marks which appears on all of the parts sold by Borges Foreign Auto all returned parts must be accompanied by the original sales receipt. Warranty is void for any parts which have been altered, modified, disassembled or damaged by misuse or accident subsequent to purchase. All parts are warranted for stock installation only. Vehicle Computers

All OEM Stock Computers are removed from a running recycled vehicle. This can be considered the ECU, Engine Computer, Main Computer, Chassis Brain Box (CBX), or ECM. Be sure to check with your local dealership to see if your ECU needs to be reprogrammed. Our guarantee does not cover any programming charges. All items are tested and stored inside.
