BMW E28 533i 528e Rear Shocks/Springs Boge
Receved Two sets of these from an ebay sale. I put one set on my own 528e and was amazed at the overall condition and ride. There's something about 80s parts that hold up and are of superior quality then what's around today. I took these apart and replaced all items that were worn. I cycled the shocks through their full range of motion around a dozen times and they feel great. I repainted the shocks the blue that they came in and painted the springs. Judging by the looks and feel these have a long life ahead of them. Removed from a 533i but can be use on any E28 from 82-88.
BMW E28 533i 528e Rear Shocks/Springs Boge
Purchased about a year ago boge shocks with bmw springs. Part# for the springs was 33-53--1-126979. This set up lowered the rear around an inch while maintaining a nice ride. They were put together with all genuine BMW hardware mounts and rubber. Practically new! Priced per pair. The label in the picture is the spring part number. THE WHEEL BEARING IS IN GOOD USABLE CONDITION WITH NO PLAY. THERE IS NO BUMP STOP ON THIS STRUT. THIS STRUT HAS BLOWN SEALS, AND THERE IS SIGNIFIGANT WEAR ON THE SHOCK TUBE. THE SPRING IS MARKED WITH THREE ORANGE LINES.THIS WAS REMOVED FROM A RUNNING DRIVING E28 525E.
