Sunbeam Alpine Series 3 Seat Frame Rubber Bumpers OEM
This is a set of seat frame base rubber bumpers that are exclusive to the Series 3 Alpine. They are specific to this car and were eliminated in the Series IV car. One rubber bumper is bolted to each base frame rail to match the position of a cup welded onto the rear of the seat track. When lowered, the bumper fit into the cup and reduced side to side sway when cornering. Each seat requires 2 bumpers (total of 4 for the car) but I only have 2. Chances are, if any PO's or you have had work done on the seats that these bumpers are missing. You will, at least, be able to stabilize the driver's seat!
