This listing is for a nice used auto dimming inside rearview mirror with Homelink® garage door opener controls & light blue compass display. This is a PLUG AND PLAY upgrade for 2016-2022 Toyota Tacoma trucks that are currently equipped with the factory autodim mirror that has a 12 pin/3 wire connector on the back. Listing is for the mirror & 10 pin to 12 pin adapter harness.  You'll simply unplug your OEM mirror and plug this one in, pull the excess wiring back up above the overhead console, then calibrate the compass, program the Homelink® buttons and you're all set - compass calibration & Homelink® programming instructions included. NOTE: this mirror does not have backlit buttons.

Remember - your truck MUST currently have the factory autodim mirror with 12 pin/3 wire connector in place for this one to be plug & play.**IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING 2020 & 2021 MODELS: Most 2020 & 2021 Tacoma trucks will not have constant power on the wire in the bottom row of 12 pin factory mirror connector, even though the wire is there! Refer to the last picture for reference (wire colors may not be the same). Before purchasing this mirror, be sure to check your truck to see if has constant power between the wire in the bottom row and the fourth wire from the left in the upper row.   If it does not, we will supply you with an alternate wiring adapter that would allow the mirror to be plug & play, but in this situation, Homelink ® will only operate when the ignition is on.**

Will also work on trucks equipped with the optional safety system with sensors on the windshield up by the mirror.

HomeLink® consists of three buttons conveniently located on the face of the mirror that can be programmed to operate garage doors, estate gates, security systems, home lighting and other radio-frequency controlled devices.  HomeLink® and the HomeLink® House are registered trademarks of Gentex Corporation.

IMPORTANT: These mirrors have Homelink® version 3. What does this mean? If your opener is was made before 2013 or 2014, then the mirror should work with your opener, but because manufacturers adopted the newer version of Homelink at different times, we are not able to determine an exact cutoff time when they switched from version 3 to version 4. For any item that includes a warranty, the warranty only applies to items sold & installed on vehicles in the United States.
WARRANTY IS VOID IF ITEM IS EXPORTED OUTSIDE OF THE USA.

Warranty Policy – Purchaser MUST first contact the Company before any warranty consideration will be given.   In order to receive warranty consideration, a very specific warranty replacement procedure must be followed. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE PROCEDURE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY WARRANTY CONSIDERATION – NO EXCEPTIONS.

No supposedly defective item may be returned WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING THE COMPANY.

If a replacement item is requested PRIOR to the return of a supposedly defective item, purchaser must pay for the replacement item including shipping and will then receive a refund for the purchase price of item only after defective item has been returned.

If a replacement item is not requested prior to the return of the supposedly defective item, then the purchaser must first ship the defective item, with shipping the responsibility of the purchaser, back to the Company. After receipt of the supposedly defective item, a replacement item will be shipped to purchaser within 5 to 7 business days, with shipping the responsibility of the purchaser.

Warranty does not cover labor and other costs incurred for the removal or reinstallation of the product, or damage to the vehicle’s electrical system. Warranty does not cover shipping charges to return the defective item or for the replacement item.

Items returned that are not found to be defective will be returned to purchaser, with shipping charges the responsibility of the purchaser.

For any items that are shipped to the Company, you are responsible for the item until we receive it.   This means that if it is lost or damaged in transit and it was not insured, you will not be covered for the loss or damage.

This Warranty does not apply to any product or part thereof which has been damaged through alteration, improper installation, mishandling, misuse, neglect, or accident.
