Hi,

I have a used starter for a variety of Ford, Mercury and Lincoln cars from the 60's and 70's.   It appears to be used primarily on these engines - 360, 390, 427, 428 but not exclusively.   I see that some 6 cyl (144, 170, 200) used this starter.   Due to the huge number of possible variations, contact me for your application.    Be sure you require a 3 hole starter.   I have tested it by connecting it to a battery and running it for about 10 seconds. It seems to run ok but it is a used part and there is no guarantee or returns, sorry.    There were several part numbers used over the years see below. I took the application list below from another listing and have not verified all the applications.
