Engine warranties are limited to the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and oil pumps.   We warranty the long block and rotating assembly.   We do not warranty any attached accessory parts, such as alternators, power steering pumps, ac compressors, turbos, water pumps, manifolds, valve covers, brackets, flywheel etc.   We do not cover fuel system and high pressure oil pumps.   We are not responsible for improper installation and or labor charges.   We do not warranty oil leaks/damage on engines or transmissions due to non replaced seals, gaskets or filters.   Over revving, accident, abuse or an operation for which it was not designed, or alteration, either drive train or suspension, from the original </span><span style="font-family: &#34;Times New Roman&#34;; font-size: medium; font-weight: 700;">manufacturers</span><span style="font-family: &#34;Times New Roman&#34;; font-size: medium; font-weight: bold;"> specifications, overheating and/or freeze cracks to blocks or heads, burned or melted pistons, lack of lubricants, fluids and maintenance.</span><br style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"/><br style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"/><span style="font-family: &#34;Times New Roman&#34;; font-size: medium; font-weight: bold;">State and federal laws regulate odometer mileage for most used automobiles, but odometer mileage determinations for used engines and automotive parts are not practically possible, and are not subject to known state and federal laws.   Determination of mileage use for used engines or transmissions cannot be done with certainty because these engines and transmissions are routinely sold and transferred separate and apart from the original vehicle in which they were installed.   All engines are tested with diagnostic equipment.   If turbo failure lead to engine failure you must document the air charger (intercooler), external engine oil and automatic transmission coolers has been properly flushed.   TCI high pressure fluid cooler cleaner/flush is recommended.   Thermostat and Water pump must be replaced.   Fuel lines need to be checked for debris and flow.   Pick-up screen to oil pump must be replaced or cleaned.   Prime lubrication system to avoid dry start.   Manually turn over engine crankshaft several times before installing.   Failing to do so will invalidate warranty.   Installer must replace the rear main seal; inspect all other seals and gaskets prior to installing the engine.   Replace if necessary.   Blown head gaskets are not covered under this warranty.   Check radiator completely.   Damages as a result of overheating , lack of oil or a melted/tampered or removed heat tab - void this warranty.   Installation must be completed by the purchaser or an ASE certified mechanic at a licensed facility with documented proof within 30 days of delivery or all warranties will be voided.</span><br style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"/><br style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"/><span style="font-family: &#34;Times New Roman&#34;; font-size: medium; font-weight: bold;">All </span><span style="font-family: &#34;Times New Roman&#34;; font-size: medium; font-weight: 700;">mis </span><span style="font-family: &#34;Times New Roman&#34;; font-size: medium; font-weight: bold;">ordered or misdiagnosed parts will be assessed a 20% restocking charge and freight both ways. Any engine and transmission returned not in the same assembled condition as it was received will not be refunded under any circumstances.   If the engine or transmission is disassembled in any way without our express written authorization it will void the warranty.   In the event that your engine has been damaged in transit because of the shipper, or otherwise, please contact us immediately and make sure to mark the BOL as DAMAGED.   This enables the shipment to be returned to us free of charge.   We will replace any component damaged and/or find you a suitable replacement engine.   Although GENERAL USED TRUCK PARTS makes every effort to make the part look as nice as possible before it ships no warranty or guarantee is made towards the appearance of that part.</span><br style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"/><br style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"/><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: &#34;Times New Roman&#34;; font-size: medium;">Replace oil and filter.   Change the oil at a licensed shop after first 500 miles then every 3000 miles.   Replace all fuel and air filters.   Check and adjust valves and timing to factory settings.   Customer is required to keep accurate records issued on the date of maintenance, issued in the name of purchaser, be signed by purchaser, be electronically generated, issued by the service facility performing the maintenance, include mileage, date, vehicle identification number, year, make, and model, and include a record of payment and service performed.   Any handwritten information on records, receipts or repair orders, pertaining to or documenting required maintenance are not acceptable.</span><br style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"/><br style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"/><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: &#34;Times New Roman&#34;; font-size: medium;">In the unlikely event there is a problem with a engine purchased through us, GENERAL USED TRUCK PARTS has the option to either repair or replace the defective unit only.
