I’m not a car person, but think this may go with an MG or Austin Healey Sprite based on limited on-line research. www.ahsco.com had some specs indicating 1959.

I assume you know more about it than I do, so if you have any questions or corrections, just holler.

I believe All parts that are supposed to move, do so well.

Some rusting throughout, some screws are free some are not.

The writing on the side says the following;
