DESCRIPTIONYou are purchasing 11 used OEM Honda IMA dual battery sticks for the 2nd generation Honda Civic Hybrid, model years 2006 2007 2008. Each pair is made from extremely high quality, industrial grade NiMH "D" cell batteries welded together to form a 12 cell 14.4V nominal "dual stick" series module.

These sticks are kept together as a group from the battery they were removed from. They are not tested or screened in any meaningful way.  They come out of the battery pack as a set of 11 pairs and go back into a box as a set of 11 pairs. Note that the plastic spacers normally clipped to the sticks in the center may not be present.

These newer CA2 batteries are MUCH more likely to be good than the original OEM batteries that are now 14-16 years old, though please keep in mind that many of the cells, sticks, or pairs are likely to have high internal resistance, low capacity, or other problems. However, some do have plenty of life left and would be great for hobby use or even for rebuilding your Honda Civic Hybrid's battery pack with.  They would need to be cycle-tested to determine state-of-health and other parameters.

With a Dremel and some elbow grease you could even cut out the exceptionally good cells and make your own very capable, very cheap battery packs (price some NiMH D cells and see)! One buyer reported 96 good cells (though of course we can not guarantee how many good or bad cells each lot will contain).
