1990-1993 SAAB 900 Clock Spring Airbag Horn SRS SPG Classic 9000 OEM 94 Convertible

This clock spring was removed from a 1993 SAAB 900 Classic Convertible. This assembly is compatible with all SAAB Classic 900 models fitted with an airbag as well as 9000 model years 1990 through 1994. Part number on the housing is 4310918. Interchage part numbers include 32000159, 4310918, 9105610, 4310926.

Inside the cylindrical chamber is a spool of wire ribbon enabling the horn buttons and SRS / air-bag to function through the full range of steering wheel motion. Failure of this component will trip the SRS light (resetting this light may require access to a dealer Tech-II device).

This clock spring has been tested with an ohm meter to confirm continuity as well as no shorts through the full range of motion. Item has been tested therefore all sales are final. Pictures are of the actual item.

This clock spring is no longer available from SAAB and is easily damaged if improperly installed. The clock spring will be shipped with a zip-tie to maintain the correct centered position but this zip-tie must be carefully removed prior to installation. Buyer is responsible to confirm proper application and installation.
