Termsand Conditions

Buyer's warrantycontinues fromtheoriginal invoice date foranyandallreplacementproducts. Itwillbe extended only fora specificperiodbecauseofunserviceability,if any, exclusivelydue to the time neededto replacethedefectiveproducts.

Warranty applies only totheoriginal purchaser andisnot transferable.Allengines, transmissions and partsdonot carryanylabor or accessory warranty.Warranty onlyapplies to internalparts alone.

Used Engine Warranty: 60 daysreplacementonheadandblock.

Used Transmission Warranty:60 daysreplacement.

JEP Limited Warrantydoesnot coverdamageorlossdue tomisuse, maintenance neglect,abuse, vandalism,abnormaloperation oraccidents.

Repairs, disassembly or modificationsdonewithoutpriorauthorizationfrom JEPwill automatically void the warranty.Alwaysaskfor authorizationfirst beforedoinganything.

NOWARRANTY - THE FOLLOWING ARE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED IN JEP WARRANTY:

Used Engine - Alternator,brackets,clutch assembly,dipsticktube,EGR valve,flywheel, fuel injection system,fuel pump, headgaskets,gaskets,oil pan,oil pick uptube, oilpressureand water temperature ending unit, oil pump, pulley,seals,smogemission device(carburetor,  distributor, intake/exhaust manifold),starter, timing belt(s), turbochargers, valvecover, water pump, lifter/lash adjuster.

UsedTransmission - electricalswitches, neutralsafetyswitch,oilfilter,oil pan,overdrivesendingunit switch, sealsshiftinglinkage, speed armer,throttle cable, throw bearing, torque converter, wiringsystem.

No warrantyimpliesongaskets and seals.

All externalaccessoriesandexternal parts originatedfromthe old donor engine. Damages causedby overheating, lackofoilorlubrication, orincorrecttype of oil used. Anydamage toor failure of any parts not soldunder this warranty.

Improper installation/adjustments, broken timingcomponentsor tamperingof products(removing cylinder head, openingof transmission,etc...).

JEP willnotberesponsible orliableforreinstallation ofsmog devices,anylabor cost ofconsequential down timeclaims: cost oftowing, loss ofwork, car rental...

WARNING - WARRANTY WILLBE VOID IF THEFOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE NOTMET:

• Allproducts sold mustbe installed, maintained, or adjusted byaqualifiedASE technician.

• Radiator mustbe flowandpressurechecked, repair andreplaceif necessary(thermostat,temperature sensor,water pump,radiatorhosesmust be replaced as well).

• Allenginesandcylinderheadsare equippedwithheattabs, toprotectthe buyerandsellerfromoverheated engines. If the heattabis melted or removed,thiswarranty will be voided.

• Customershould replacetiming belt(s),nowarranty for consequentialdamagesfrombroken timing belt(s). Frontand rearcrank sealsmust be replaced.

Return Policy and Refund

ExchangeorRefund:

• Ifaproduct does notremain serviceable forthefullwarranty period,then uponreturnofthedefective unittoJEPby thebuyer,JEP will, atitssolediscretion, either provide aproductexchangeor refund, anyandallexchanges & refundsoccurringafter30daysshallbe subjecttoapro-ratedcostbytime usage.

• JEP reservestheright toteardownandexamine defectiveproductsbeforeadjustmentwillbemade.

• No return oradjustmentsafter30 daysor any previouslyinstalledproducts.

• Core needstobereturnedwithin 30 daysfor a fullrefund.Corescannot bereturnedafter30daysof original purchase date-no exceptions.

• Allreturns subjectto a minimum 20%restockingfee.

• Special orderparts are not refundable, specialorderdepositsare not refundable.

• Customersare responsible forall shippingfeesincluding cancelledandrefusedorders.

Pre-Installation Maintenance

Used Engine:

• Drain & replace engine oils to manufacturers suggested levels

• Replace oil filter

• Replace valve cover gaskets

• Replace oil pan gasket & rear main seal

• Inspect and replace, if needed, timing gears, chains or belts and gaskets

• Replace thermostat & gasket

• Flush cooling system and refill with antifreeze to appropriate level

• Install new spark plugs

• Install new belts and hoses

Used Automatic Transmission:

• Transmissioncooler lines mustbe flushed

• Replace transmission front seal and rear seal

• Makesurethe torqueconverteris all theway into the front pump

• Transmission oil andgear oilmust be filledprior to installation

• Some front wheel drive transmissions needtofilldifferential fluid (ToyotaCamry,Corolla,Tercel ...)
