Used Nissan Micra Air Cleaner Housing

The air cleaner assembly houses the air filter and sensors for air that enters your engine’s combustion chambers. On cars with carburetors the air cleaner assembly is usually round and located on top of the carburetor. A wing nut usually attaches a top plate to the assembly for easy access to the filter.

On newer cars the assembly is usually a square or rectangular black plastic box with about a four inch diameter hose coming out of it. A screwdriver is usually needed to access the filter.
