Standard Warranty

Hebert's Used Auto Parts offers a standard 6 month warranty on all mechanical parts. This covers the part only. "NO LABOR PAID".   Hebert's Used Auto Parts is not responsible for any improper installation or misdiagnosis.

All of our transmissions are in good working order with mileage if available.

 New filter, proper fluids and seals must be installed. Hebert's Used Auto Parts is not reliable for any leaks or improper installation. All fluid coolers and lines must be flushed, shift/ detent cable or linkage assemblies must be adjusted. All computer controlled transmissions must be reflashed. Torque converter must be properly installed. Customer must obtain invoices for all parts. Please contact your sales person if there are any issues before removing the transmission. "No Labor Paid".   Miscellaneous parts are not covered in the warranty.   This includes but is not limited to clutch systems, shifter assemblies, control modules, etc.

All of our engines are pretested with mileage noted if available. Engines are considered to consist of a short block assembly and cylinder head. Any seals, gaskets, fluids, water pump and timing belts nust be replaced to ensure warranty. Cooling system must be flushed. Overheated, altered or impropperly installed parts void warranty. Change induction & electrical systems (harness) as needed. "No Labor Paid" Items left on engines (pumps, sensors, carb, manifold, etc.) are left for convenience and are NOT covered under warranty.

Shipping Freight Items

This part has a 6 month warranty and will ship by a freight carrier to a continental US addresses only. A valid phone number is required for all freight shipments.

Freight carriers require a commercial business address with a loading dock or forklift to unload the (semi)truck.

 Most of our customers choose to ship directly to the shop that is installing their part as long as it is a commercial business address. A shop operating at a residence or farm is not considered commercial unless it's licensed and operating in a commercially zoned area. We will not cover multiple delivery fees and lift gate fees if the location is unable to unload the truck.   If you need a lift gate please contact us before hand; lift gate service is provided at an additional cost.

If you cannot provide a commercial business address, we can deliver this part to a freight terminal for your pickup at no additional charge. Please contact us first so that we can give you the location of your closest freight terminal (sometimes they are not close, so verify before purchasing).

All freight shipments must be inspected upon delivery. The delivery driver will have paperwork for you to sign. DO NOT sign if there is any damage to the item as a result of shipping. You have the right to inspect the shipment for obvious signs of damage prior to signing and accepting the delivery. Signing the freight paperwork means you assume liability for any shipping damage.
