POWERTRAIN REMANUFACTURED PARTS

Every remanufactured part we sell is completely disassembled, inspected, and machined back to OEM specifications. These processes ensure our ability to deliver an OE quality product.

This part comes with the industry leading AESOP One-Time, No Fault GOLD PLUS (NFGP) 3 Year warranty. This is supplemental to the AESOP Standard Limited Warranty.

The NFGP warranty does not waive or modify any exclusions or limitations in the AESOP Standard Warranty, except as specifically stated in this NFGP warranty.

TERM: The term of this NFGP warranty plan is 3 years from the date of purchase and is coextensive with the AESOP Standard Warranty that covers the remanufactured drivetrain part to which this NFGP plan applies. Once the One Time No Fault is elected to be used, warranty coverage reverts to the standard warranty. The term begins on the date of invoice.

SUPPLEMENTAL WARRANTY PAYMENTS: Authorized repairs on claims will be reimbursed at a rate not to exceed the Mitchell Repair Manual published applicable flat rate schedule. Hourly rates for all authorized repairs will be paid in accordance with rate paid for the original installation but not to exceed the below $125.00 an hour.

Do-it yourself repairs, repairs performed by unlicensed repair facilities, or repairs made to units not originally installed in a licensed automotive repair facility will not be reimbursed.

Labor guarantee under terms of No-Fault Warranty are limited to the first time failure of the remanufactured assembly and in no case will the total labor under the terms of this guarantee EXCEED the Mitchell Repair Manual published applicable flat rate schedule of $125.00 per hour for the NFGP warranty.

TOWING: The AESOP NFGP warranty includes a towing reimbursement up to a maximum of $100 per occurrence. (Customer must supply a copy of the towing invoice/contract.)

RENTAL: The AESOP NFGP warranty includes car rental to be reimbursed up to a maximum of 5 days, at up to $30 per day. (Customer must supply a copy of the rental contract.)

EXCLUSIONS: The AESOP NFGP warranty plan is subject to the following exclusions:

1. Engines used in a manner that violates the terms of the AESOP install material or used for purposes other than their original intended use.

2. Do-it yourself engine installations.

INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE:

1. AESOP recommended installation procedures must be followed.

2.Maintenance must conform to the original equipment manufacturer standards. You may be required to furnish proof of these services when making a claim.

CLAIMS PROCEDURE:

1. If the vehicle needs repair, you must contact us or your salesperson prior to starting the work.

2. You must bring the vehicle, either to the repair facility where the original AESOP product was installed or to another licensed automotive repair facility.

3. When calling, have your AESOP product serial number ready. This is available from the original installer, located on the engine itself, or found on your AESOP invoice.

4. Payment will not be made for any unauthorized repairs and/or replacements.

INVOICE TERMS & CONDITIONS

All AESOP Powertrain parts are covered by the AESOP industry leading No Fault Gold Plus (NFGP) - 3 Year warranty from the purchase date.

All parts must be installed within 30 days of delivery or pick up in accordance with procedures set forth within this document. All warranty claims must be validated with original receipts of purchase.

Exclusions:

1. Parts installed in vehicles for off road use, or street legal vehicles modified beyond factory specifications are not covered by this warranty.

2. Parts installed in commercial, or fleet vehicles or marine use are not covered by this warranty.

3. Incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to the cost of related parts, loss of income, travel expenses, rental, towing, and diagnostics fees are not covered by this warranty.

4. This warranty will not cover damages or failure arising directly or indirectly due to improper installation or related vehicle issues, misuse, abuse, maintenance neglect, environmental conditions, or accidents.

General Limitations:

1. AESOP reserves the right to have the part inspected to ensure that all the provisions stated within the warranty have been met and to inspect the part prior to repair, replacement or refund.

2. Any repairs or removal of the part before AESOP or its contractor can inspect the part will void the warranty.

3. Warranty is valid to original purchaser only. Warranty is not transferable.

4. This part may have accessories that are attached and must be removed or switched for proper installation. This is solely the responsibility of the installer as such accessories are not covered under this warranty.

5. Warranties are applicable on the part supplied, products repaired or replaced under warranty for which a warranty claim has been recognised by AESOP (regardless of the type of warranty claim made) shall thereafter be covered only for the balance of the original warranty period.

6. This warranty is void if any of the following occurs:

(A) Part is installed in an application not intended by the vehicle manufacturer.

(B) Failure caused by towing a trailer unless your vehicle is rated by the manufacturer for towing.

(C) Failures caused by non-covered components, improper installation, abuse, misuse, racing, poor workmanship, improper or lack of maintenance.

(D) Failure caused by or related to collisions, theft, vandalism or any act of God.

(E) Warranty on all mechanical parts including but not limited to Engines and Transmissions is void unless installed by a qualified technician.

Engines: The Warranty covers engine knock, excessive smoke, excessive oil consumption (a minimum of 2 quarts per thousand miles), inadequate oil pressure, spun/turned bearings, head gaskets and cracks in heads, block or pistons.

Transmissions: Except as otherwise provided herein, the Warranty covers slippage, shifting failures and/or bearing noise. The Warranty does not cover pump breakage that results from improper installation of the torque converter. All transmission control modules (TCM) must be programmed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.

Axle, Carriers, & Transfer Cases: For all-wheel-drive applications, all mounted tires must (1) be the same size, (2) be made by the same manufacturer, and (3) have a tread depth within 3/32 of each other tire, or the Warranty is voided.

Disclaimer of other warranties:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, except for the warranty described above, all parts are provided "as-is," without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of quality, merchantability, and/or fitness for a particular purpose. Except for the limited warranty described above, all warranties, representations, conditions and terms, whether express or implied (and whether implied by statute, common law, course of dealing, trade usage or otherwise) are hereby excluded and disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law. Once that is done a return label will be issued. All parts are covered by our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

If any part supplied by AESOP proves to be faulty during this period, it may be returned for an exchange. If no exchange is available within 48 hours a refund will be given.

All goods should be inspected upon delivery before signing to ensure that the item has not been damaged during transit. If goods prove to be damaged, do not sign, refuse delivery & contact AESOP within 1 working day. This is to ensure that, if necessary, a claim can be made against the courier company.

If a part is supplied as ordered but the customer has ordered incorrectly, we must be contacted immediately. Refunds will only be made upon the return of the goods to our premises.

Please ensure all goods are checked thoroughly before being signed for. Refunds are not always possible for goods that have been damaged whilst in transit. The words unexamined or unchecked on the delivery note/docket are not acceptable. AESOP will not be held responsible for the refund of goods damaged in transit if they have been signed for as in good condition.

Shipping POLICY

Our freight carrier requires a commercial business address with a loading dock or forklift to unload the truck.

Most of our customers choose to ship directly to the shop that is installing their part if it is a commercial business address.

If you cannot provide a commercial business address, we can deliver this part to a freight terminal for your pick-up at no additional charge. Please contact us first so that we can give you the location of your closest freight terminal.

Items will be shipped by UPS and LTL with live tracking information. You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your part ships. Please allow 1-5 business days for your part to arrive.
