Q: Oops! I didn't verify exact part number match and it's not working in my vehicle. Can I return it?

A: In the event you ordered a radio that is not an exact part number replacement or a radio that requires programming that you do not wish to have programmed at the dealer and would like to initiate a return we are happy to accept the return in accordance with our return policy. In this case please select your return reason as 'Changed my mind' or 'Just didn't like it'.

Q: Will this part fit my vehicle?

A: Factory automotive systems are highly specific to vehicle trim packages and we recommend you only order the exact part number that your vehicle was built with. Many systems may look similar but are not interchangeable. Though we list the vehicles that a part MAY fit it, we can not guarantee that a particular part will fit your specific vehicle due to build differences. If you don't know your exact part number that was originally installed in your vehicle we recommend contacting your local new car dealership who should be able to provide that information using your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).

Q: Will this part require programming?

A: Certain replacement radios and associated modules require dealer programming to your VIN for proper functionality. We do our best to provide this information when available but do not have a complete list of which modules and vehicles will require programming. If you are unsure we recommend contacting your local new car dealership.

Q: Is the radio I'm ordering unlocked?

A: Many factory radios utilize an anti-theft feature by storing the VIN in the radio. All radios sold by United Radio are shipped in an unlocked state (VIN Cleared) where applicable. Radios that utilize a VIN lock will lock to the first vehicle you install them in, and cannot be moved to another vehicle after installation.

Q: Does this radio need an unlock code?

A: Many factory radios utilize an anti-theft feature by requiring a 4-6 digit lock code that must be entered whenever the radio is removed from the vehicle. All radios sold by United Radio will ship with this lock code where applicable. If your radio requires a lock code but you did not receive one please contact us with the part number and serial number off your radio and we will provide the code for you. Please note we cannot provide lock codes for radios not sold by United Radio.

Q: This radio is listed as "Refurbished", what does your refurbishment process entail?

A: United Radio is an electronics manufacturer that has been in business since 1923. Our automotive division specializes in remanufacturing infotainment products to a full working condition. This process typically entails replacement of any worn functional items, updates to any components that were changed after production, software/firmware updates, replacement of cosmetics (when still available), and a full QC function test. OEM/exact replacement parts are always used when available. Some parts listed as refurbished may be new/old stock that have never been installed in a vehicle. Some units may have slight cosmetic wear that does not affect functionality of the unit.

WarrantyThis listing has a 90-day parts warranty which will cover the product or service for defects in manufacturing or workmanship. This warranty does not cover physical/intentional damage, shipping damage, use outside of the manufacturer's guidelines, damage caused by excess heat, dirt, moisture, or act of god. Defective product will be repaired or replaced at seller's discretion for qualified warranty claims. Labor cost for removal and re-installation is not covered by this warranty.ReturnsReturns are accepted for products in like-new condition within 30 days with return shipping paid by the buyer.
