This is a genuine Chevrolet part that came out of a 1997 Cavalier Coupe here in sunny California, I do not know if it will fit the sedan version. It will fit the 1995-1999 Coupe models for sure. It was a super clean non-smoker and no pet car with a near mint condition interior. This console lid looks almost new. These are very hard to find in this condition. The latch and hinge are also in excellent condition and it comes with the original mounting screws. It is black in color. Please look closely at the photos, what you see is what you get.
