1971-76 A-body Left hand door latch

Used Left hand door latch for all 2 Door 1971-74 A-body. Should also fit 1975-76 however we did not have a car to verify.

WILL NOT FIT 4 DOOR.

Please do not be fooled by other sellers claiming these fit 1967-76 A-body cars. They are in fact different. 67-68 is one then 69-70, and 71-76 is the other. Chrysler for whatever reason changed the way the lock and release rods attach to the latch so you can not interchange them.

This is a nice used original latch that has been cleaned and is ready to install. Buyer will need to add some form of lubricant to the assembly before installing as the cleaning process removes the original oil.

**NOTE we have parted out over 1,000 cars and have found 3 different manufacturing designs for these latches. All 3 are correct as Chrysler had multiple parts suppliers to ensure build production was not interrupted. So if you are replacing a bad latch ours may look different then yours however it is only a style change and does not affect the functionality.

Latch is wore slightly from door dragging but still functions properly.

Part is 50 years old and in used condition so it may have some minor wear or other imperfections from use and is sold as is.
