It is an original driveshaft that will fit 1964 1/2 1965 1966 1967  289 (Not Hipo) and 302 engines automatic 3 speed or 4 speed and all body styles coupe convertible fastback with an 8" rear end.   It also fits 6 cylinders with a 200 automatic for 1965 and 1966.

It is 2 3/4" wide and about 51" long

It fits a few 1971 1972 with FMX transmissions.

It uses the external internal (grooved inner ring, snap rings.   Some 1965's and 1966's MAY have internal smooth snap rings on either the yoke or rear end.   If so, there is a special U joint with external and internal snap rings, so this driveshaft will fit all of them.

Internal look like a C clip and snaps to the inside.   The slip joint (Yoke) and driveshaft "hole" is smooth.    External look like a random piece of spaghetti and are visible from the outside.   The slip joint (Yoke) and driveshaft "hole" is grooved.

Good condition, no damage just old.   It measures about 51" at the center of the joints.

It can be used on a 1965 1966 and 1967 with the grooved and smooth hybrid U joint shown in the last picture.

Please check what yoke and rear end you have, as a lot can happen over 50 years.   If the inside of the flange is totally smooth, like in pictures 3 and 4, then you need the hybrid U joint.
