Up for sale is a**vintage NOS accessory spare tire hub cap with a jeweled reflector.Ithas never been used, but has some light shelf wear from age.**

The hub cap is an aftermarket accessory made in the 1930s by Detroit Metal Spec. Corp / METAL BILT PROCUCTS. The reflector is made by STIMSONITE.

When measured from the underside: The outer diameter measures 9".   When measured between the two tabs, this measures 6". Please see last picture for dimensions.

Application:**This is a universal accessory. It will fit any spare tire if the dimensions are correct. Please check the dimensions on your car to make sure the dimensions are correct for your car. Please do your own research.**

Condition:**This is in very good condition. It has been stored in a barn since the 1940s. It has never been used, but has some light shelf wear from age. It is very well made.**

The metal: is nice and shiny. There are a few light surface scratches here and there, and some tiny specks of surface finish loss revealing what looks like brass underneath. There are no major dings/ dents. If you look very closely, there is one area on the side edge (if the STIMSONITE stamp is at 12 o'clock on the reflector, at about 1 o'clock on the very outer edge of the metal part of the cap), there is one area that is slightly flattened. There is no noticeable ding / dent, you have to be looking closely to see this, but we want you to know.

The reflector:**looks very good. The glass looks excellent, and has no cracks or breaks. The color is bright and the STIMSONITE stamp is crisp. The surface feels very smooth.**

The back:**looks very good and the two clamps on the back look solid.**
